Homicide figures flucuate. Just today, a front page headline in the Daily News read "Devonshire tops city murder list for September" But that is not to say that Chief Bratton is not using effective means to reduce gang crime. But if the LAPD leaves out its option to deport illegal alien gang members, the means it is using is just an improvement of an already bad situation.

There is no other gang fighting strategy as powerful as turning the 60 % of illegal alien gang members over to the INS.
